Helping Harvest supplies food to more than 350 charitable food programs that feed the hungry in Berks and Schuylkill counties.

Helping Harvest supplied 9.6 million pounds of food to its member network of charitable food programs in 2022.
Pantries, Soup Kitchens & Shelters
Food supplied by Helping Harvest provides more than 1,100,000 meals annually at soup kitchens and shelters. An average of 23,000 individuals receive food monthly from the food pantries.
Mobile Markets
Mobile Markets provide nourishing food to hungry families at monthly distribution sites. All food is distributed directly to our hungry neighbors by Helping Harvest staff and volunteers.
Weekender Program
Provides a bag full of nourishing foods to participating low-income children each Friday. Bags are distributed at 90+ schools, day care centers and Head Start programs in our two-county service area.
Senior Programs
The Senior Food Box Program provides a box of food every month to more than 2,000 low-income senior citizens. Produce Plus provides fresh and frozen foods to those living in primarily low-income senior housing facilities.
Healthy Sprouts
Provides a bag of assorted fruits, veggies and/or dairy items to local kids in need.
