OUR IMPACT

In 2025

• Helping Harvest (HH) distributed more than 11.1 million pounds of food valued at just over $21.8 to our 350+ charitable food program partners in Berks and Schuylkill Counties: food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs, Mobile Markets and senior housing facilities.
• Of the food distributed, almost 5.8 million pounds were fresh and frozen foods. That’s 52.1% of the food we distributed!
• 987,774 meals and snacks were served at shelters with food obtained from Helping Harvest.
• 355,221 meals and snacks were served at soup kitchens and meal programs with food obtained from HH.
• Over 26,500 boxes were distributed through the federally supported PA Senior Food Box Program.
• Helping Harvest’s Mobile Market program distributed 2,370,429 pounds of produce, dairy, breads and frozen meats.
• 133,532 bags full of food were sent home through the Weekender Program at 86 sites in Berks and Schuylkill counties.
• 37,350 volunteer and community service hours were worked – these hours are equivalent to almost 17 full time staff.
