Our Celebration of Community and Hope Event honoring our 40th Anniversary of fighting hunger insecurity in Berks and Schuylkill Counties took place on Thursday, October 12th. The evening proceeds benefitted our Weekender Program, which supplies 1000s of low-income schoolchildren with bags of food they need to sustain their hunger over the weekends when they are not guaranteed the healthy breakfast and lunch they typically receive during a school day.
